SPE Evangeline Section
ULL & LSU Petroleum Engineering Scholarship Program

The Evangeline Section awards $20,000 in scholarships each year to students majoring in petroleum
engineering at Louisiana State University (LSU) or the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) .
The objectives of the SPE Scholarship Program are:

1. To assist in providing an adequate supply of engineering manpower

2. To recognize academic excellence

3. To recognize support of SPE and SSPE (SPE student chapters)

4. To recognize participation in extracurricular activities
