Children of Evangeline Section ScholarshipSPE Evangeline Section For the 2008-2009 school year, the Evangeline Section will offer approximately ten scholarships worth $1,000 each to eligible children of the Evangeline Section membership. Each scholarship will be paid in two installments, $500 in the fall semester and $500 in the spring semester. The scholarships are non-renewable, but students can re-apply every school year. The eligibility requirements for the scholarships are: 1. Applicant must be a child of an SPE Evangeline Section member in good standing. 2. Applicant must be attending a four-year accredited college, working towards a Bachelors or Masters 3. Applicant must have a declared field of study. 4. Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum of 12 semester hours. Provide proof of enrollment 5. Applicant must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. 6. In order to receive the second installment for the spring semester, the recipient must maintain a 3.0 GPA in the fall semester in addition to the above requirements. 7.
